Bad news Socom fans, it has been confirmed that Socom 4 has been delayed until 2011. Talking on a post on the official Socom Website, Zippers Senior Community Manager Jeremy Dunham had this to say: “While we’re certainly aware that you’ve been looking forward to playing SOCOM 4 this year, we don’t want to take any shortcuts. Instead, we want to deliver the best and most immersive SOCOM game we possibly can and we’re going to use our extra time to do just that.” No more information was given on just exactly when in 2011 we can expect the release of Socom 4 but I have a feeling that maybe the delay on Socom 4 may have more to do with the release of a certain Call of Duty title at the end of 2010 rather than Zipper not taking any 'shortcuts'.
