Last year our expectations of what an Xbox Live Arcade game can do were raised by the Summer of Arcade and this year that has happened again.
Monday Night Combat is based around the idea that in the future, unsatisfied by watching celebrities feasting on Kangaroo’s crown jewels, our idea of ‘reality TV’ will be to put a dozen or so heavily armed people in a stadium, throw in a few bloodthirsty robots and see what happens. Actually, that doesn’t sound so bad.

Turtle Beach are well renowned for their high quality gaming headsets and recently the have upgraded their range of headset for the Xbox 360. I have had the opportunity to try one these upgraded models and I have to say I'm very impressed.
UFC Undisputed 2010 is THQ's latest game offering in the world of mixed martial arts. Developed by Yuke, the game is due for release on 28th May 2010. UFC 2009 Undisputed was a surprise hit last year and shipped over 1 million copies in its first month. However, myself and last years version never really got on, I felt it was too cumbersome, lacking in depth and obviously the huge online lag issues upon release made it almost impossible to play online.
So last Thursday saw the release of the latest multiplayer add on for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The Siege pack included two new maps. six new skins, new trophies and off course the new Siege co-op mode. I spent more or less the whole weekend playing Uncharted 2 online and I have to say this DLC is excellent.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Splinter Cell: Conviction is the fifth game featuring Sam Fisher but actually the first I have played. Managing to keep away from all the hype surrounding the game, avoiding forum posts, reviews along with links on twitter and facebook, I went into this game virtually blind and not knowing what to expect. Well I knew it was a stealth action game but that was about it.
